TC5500 Biological Microscopes

TC5500 Inverted Fluorescence Biological Laboratory Series has been designed to meet the high performance demands of researchers and clinical laboratory specialists.

The TC5500 Series microscopes feature a new computer engineered rigid frame that incorporates low positioned coaxial coarse/fine focus controls and ergonomic stage design for maximum efficiency and comfort while providing and extremely stable platform.

The precision diecast aluminum alloy stand has a very durable chemical resistant finish to aid in cleaning & maintaining the instruments appearance.

The stand is equipped with tension adjustment controls and a built in stage stop lever to protect the specimen and objectives from accidental damage during use.

This Series offers an outstanding range of features and optical performance with an emphasis on all newly engineered high performance optics based on Meiji Techno’s ICOS™ Optical System (Infinity Corrected Optical System F=200mm).

Planachromat optics, provide exceptionally bright, crisp images with good color rendition with flat fields of view.

A versatile modular design facilitates attachment of a variety of optional accessories including: Phase contrast,Darkfield, simple polarizing as well as Epi-illumination systems for Fluorescence work.

Attachments for CMOS/CCD HDMI video cameras , and most Digital SLR Cameras are available for the trinocular head version.

Available with either high intensity LED lighting (MT4000L) or traditional high intensity halogen lighting (MT4000H)

These high quality microscope are some of the few currently on the market that are actually Made in Japan (ensuring high production standards & quality control)

Brightfield:
Brightfield is the simplest & most common technique used in microscopy.Transmitted lighting is used (i.e., illuminated from below and observed from above) with a semi transparent specimen (typically stained). The sample is darker than the bright background.

The MT4000 Series is ergonomically designed, precisely manufactured and simple to use. Stage and coarse and fine controls enable precise focusing & positioning of the same.

VIEWING HEADS
Standard Siedentopf-type binocular head (trinocular head for camera attachment). Viewing tube is inclined at 30 ° with the left eyetube having graduated diopter settings. The interpupillary distance is adjustable between 53mm - 75mm.An optional Ergonomic (tilting) Binocular Viewing Head, has the inclination adjustable from 10 to 50 degrees to provide optimal view positions for multiple users of the microscope. An Ergonomic Trinocular model is also available.

EYEPIECES
KHW10X Widefield High Eyepoint eyepieces F.N.20 are standard (optional eyepieces include 15X,20X & High Eyepoint 10X focusing eyepiece (for 21mm reticules))

OBJECTIVE CHANGER
Quadruple or quintuple nosepiece provides effortless objective changes with smooth-operating, ball bearing mounted.

OBJECTIVES
Meiji Techno offers a ranget of Planachromat Infinity Corrected (ICOS) objectives for Brightfield, Darkfield and Phase Contrast observation modes.

STAGE
Ceramic coated standard right-handed or optional left-handed controls, flat top stage 171mm x 115mm and travels 78mm(X) x 52mm(Y). Ergonomically positioned coaxial drop down controls. Available with motorized focus and stage controls.

CONDENSER
New design centerable Abbe 1.25 N.A. Condenser with built-in iris diaphragm in dovetail mount.

ILLUMINATION
Powerful white LED illumination provides enhanced image quality and brightness for the observation of specimens and photomicroscopy.

PHOTOMICROGRAPHY
Meiji Techno offers a broad range of digital video cameras which offers excellent sensitivity, high resolution and a wide dynamic range for the most demanding brightfield and darkfield microscopy applications including clinical pathology and cytology, life sciences and geology. Some models has included software, that can preview and capture still shots and live videos to a PC or Mac with USB port or HDMI connectivity.
